At Sweet Pea we aim to facilitate growth through experiential education in a natural environment.  We find that being outside improves focus, engages learning, heightens the senses, builds self-confidence and creates love and enjoyment for the world we live in.

Our program’s foundation focuses on play-based learning. The child’s education is centered on what engages and interests them! By letting the children direct their learning and the teacher manage the risks, we see an increase in confidence, problem solving-skills, social competence and conflict resolution. These skills lead to dispositions of optimism, curiosity, openness, concentration, and creativity.  By having respect for the young child we instill a sense of love and respect for all things in our world.
